The meat of chicken thighs is slightly fattier and therefore richer in flavor than chicken breast. It is a juicy, flavorful piece of chicken from healthy, slow-growing free-range chickens.
Cooking Tip: Grill the thighs in the Airfryer to keep the meat tender while achieving a crispy texture.
How to Cook Chicken Thighs in the Airfryer:
- Prepare a Marinade: Mix herbs such as oregano, sage, garlic, and thyme in a bowl with oil, honey, and optionally, granulated sugar.
- Marinate the Chicken: Place the chicken thighs in the marinade and let it sit covered for at least 1 hour.
- Remove Excess Marinade: Place the chicken thighs in a colander to remove any excess marinade that hasn’t been absorbed.
- Preheat the Airfryer: Preheat the Airfryer for 10 minutes at 180°C.
- Cook the Chicken Thighs: Bake the chicken thighs for 14 minutes, turning them halfway through at 160°C.
